In 2013 Foscarini released a new energy-efficient version of its Twiggy light, designed by Marc Sadler in 2006. The iconic floor light, features a disc-shaped iron base with a thin stem (reminiscent of a fishing rod or a bamboo cane) rising from it. When it is taken apart it occupies very little space and once it is assembled it curves harmoniously. A simple system of counterweights, in a hidden space above the diffuser, allows the height to be adjusted at distances of 5 cm. Available in black, red, white and yellow Twiggy floor is part of a collection of lights including table, suspension, ceiling and reading lamps.
